One of the most quiet and peaceful places we found for a swim on the Isle of Mull. Port na Ba (gaelic for Beach of the Cattle) is a small bay is where the animals landed from the Small Isles en route to the markets of Crieff, Falkirk and Carlisle.
Photos by myself and Harry.
Soothing Sunday watching. Love this beautiful series on Great Gardens by NOWNESS.
“When the flowers are over you get seed heads, you get the grasses that flower, you get the sort of skeletons - and that has it’s own charm.” - High Line flora designer Piet Oudolf in ‘The Wild Garden’
“I am awfully greedy; I want everything from life. I want to be a woman and to be a man, to have many friends and to have loneliness, to work much and write good books, to travel and enjoy myself, to be selfish and to be unselfish… You see, it is difficult to get all which I want. And then when I do not succeed I get mad with anger.”
- Simone De Beauvoir
